NC State is not Hype, Knocks Off OK State

Pat Papolizio is quickly proving to be one of the top coaches and program builders in the country. He went from building a program at Binghmaton to now, in his 4th year, having North Carolina State in the top tier of teams in the nation. Led by the eventual points given from having a 2-time NCAA champion heavyweight, the Wolfpack made appearances near the top of the rankings in the preseason. It turns out that was only the beginning.

This was no more evident than when this Sunday the Wolfpack traveled to Oklahoma State and took 6 of 10 matches to give the #8 NC State team a 19-15 win over the #2 Cowboys.

The Wolfpack have an incredible dual schedule ahead of them. They go to the Midlands and then have duals against North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, and Missouri. NC State will have plenty of chances to keep proving themselves before March, and it should be a lot of fun watching.
