NCAA Releases Allocations For Qualifiers

The NCAA released the allocations for automatic qualifiers per conference for each conference tournament. 260 spots are awarded this way with the following 70 (7 per weight class) awarded to at-large bids after the tournament.

As always, the Big Ten gets the lion share of AQ's with 86, followed by the EIWA with 43, and then the MAC with 33. The Big 12 with just 4 teams do not get AQ spots which kind of throws off things at 197.

Of course this is one of the fun things about conference tournaments is that they are essentially regionals for the NCAA's. You have to wrestle to go, and it's a lot easier to win your bid than to worry about what crazy wild card decisions the committee may make.
