World Cup Schedule

The Freestyle World Cup is one of my favorite events. I may not be able to tell you off the top of my head all the accolades off all the guys Team USA (we still need a good nickname) will be facing, but the dual format event always has plenty of great action and intrigue. 

The Fighting Gables (eh?) will be taking on India, Azerbaijan, and Iran in pool action before a crossover match. Watch out for Turkey vs Georgia. Russia usually sends a "C" team to the World Cup so don't be surprised when Georgia faces the winner of USA/Iran. Azerbaijan won't be a slouch though so let's not assume that victory either. 

The action will be broadcast on Flo. So fire up those live streams and have some fun.

4:45 p.m. – Russia vs. Georgia, Iran vs. Azerbaijan
6 p.m. – Turkey vs. Georgia, Azerbaijan vs. United States
7:15 p.m. – Russia vs. Mongolia, India vs. Iran

Sunday, June 12
10:30 a.m. – Georgia vs. Mongolia, Azerbaijan vs. India
12 p.m. – Turkey vs. Russia, United States vs. Iran
1:30 p.m. – 7th place match, 5th place match
4:45 p.m. – 3rd place match
6 p.m. – 1st place match
7:15 p.m. – Awards Presentation
