Bloody Big Ten Thursday

There were two duals last night in the Big Ten Conference and neither was anywhere resembling close. Penn State traveled to Maryland and turned away the Terrapins 38-3. Meanwhile in Madison, Wisconsin dominated Indiana 45-0. 

Penn State won 9 of 10 matches where only Shyheim Brown at 141 gave Maryland their only victory. Things looked good for #13 Geoff Alexander (MD) against #6 Jimmy Gulibon (PSU) as Alexander got the first takedown and rode for over a minute in the first period. Gulibon though was able to dominate on top getting tilts in the 3rd period for a 9-2 win. Besides Brown's win, not much else went right for the Terps. The Nittany Lions were highlighted with 1st period pins from Matt Brown and Morgan McIntosh. 

The highlight of the Badgers vs the Hoosiers was when #8 Isaac Jordan (Wisconsin) defeated #3 Taylor Walsh (Indiana) 3-1 at 165. There was also a nice win for #15 Timmy McCall defeating Luke Sheridan 3-2. Wisconsin will face a tough test Saturday when they face Nebraska.
